We don't require an appointment to bring items in for consignment, therefore, please limit potential consignments to thirty garment pieces or fewer per visit. Large furniture items should be photographed, including a brief description, shown to us in person on your device or emailed to us at consign@redouxboutique.com. If emailed, we will review them and contact you within 24 hours.

Our thirty piece limit does NOT apply to jewelry or other small accessories such as belts and purses.

Like new condition, is a must. Please check your items carefully for stains, holes, tears, missing buttons or hooks. Your wearables should be fashionably current or fashionably vintage. 

 

* Cold weather items will be accepted until  March 1. 

*Spring items accepted March 15 -May 2

*Summer items accepted May 2 - July 15

*Fall/Winter items accepted August 15 -March 1.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED:

*Lingerie, swimwear or pajamas (exception...new with tags)

*Bedding or other household linens (exception...new with tags and in original packaging)

*Mattresses

*Appliances

*Electronics

*Business suits or suit jackets/blazers (exception...select Chanel, Armani et al)

 

The consignment period is seventy-five to ninety days and will be reduced in price after thirty days and then marked at half after sixty days. If you would like to retrieve your items before they expire, it will be your responsibility to locate and take your items. If they do not sell and are not collected by their owner, they will be donated to local

charities without further notice. Consignors will be provided with donation slips for personal tax deductions, upon request. 

 

Redoux sets the selling prices based on condition and original retail value. Generally, items are priced at 1/4 to 1/3 of retail value. We reserve the right to reduce any item during the consignment period or donate any item found to be stained or otherwise unsaleable. 

 

It is the consignor's responsibility to check their account balance and item status.

 

Consignors will receive 40% of the selling price on all clothing and accessories and 50% on all furniture, should it be received in a check. If monies owed are used in Redoux for purchases, consignors will have 50% from clothing and accessories and 60% from furniture. 

Consignor checks are mailed upon request and a mailing fee of $1.50 will be applied. We do not contact you and all monies owed must be picked up or mailed to you within 180 days. Failure to do so will result in account deletion and all monetary credit being voided.

 

Redoux is not responsible for loss by theft, fire, water, computer failure or acts of nature. Everything is consigned at owners' risk, but every precaution is taken to preserve and protect your items against these rare and improbable events.
